GERMAN LAW APPLIES ON NURBURGRING TOURIST SESSIONS
YOU CAN BE PROSECUTED IF FOUND GUILTY OF A DRIVING OFFENCE
IT IS A PRIVATELY OWNED ROAD YOU MUST PAY TO USE
YOU MAY BE FINANCIALLY LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE YOU CAUSE
THE NURBURGRING IS NOT YOUR OWN PERSONAL RACETRACK
Check your vehicle is not leaking fluids
Store all loose items securely
Travel safely at your own speed
Watch your mirrors
Overtake on the left when it’s suitable
Keep right to let traffic overtake
Use your indicators
Slow down for:
Yellow flags
Flashing yellow lights
Red and Yellow oil flags
Be prepared to slow for marshals or a vehicle with a problem
Flashing red lights means the track is closed. Slow down and take first exit
Do not stop unless you have vehicle trouble
If you must stop pull over in a safe place off the driving line
Telephone the Nordschleife emergency number and tell them the problem
00 49 (0) 26 91 3 02 - 215 / Store this number in your mobile phone
Display your warning triangle behind vehicle
Stay out of your vehicle away from the track
Remember…… Tourist days are not for racing
It is a public road
Book a track day or enter a race if you want to drive at the limit
Be safe and enjoy yourself
