Rail and Bus travel

Travelling to the  Nurburgring    Nordschleife is possible by public transport.  

It's best to fly to a local airport, perhaps Koln Bonn.

Your trip to the Nurburgring is then by train and bus.

This option frankly, is best left to Steve Martin and John Candy.

It's much easier to drive to the Nurburgring Nordschleife.

Below is a example of travel instructions by public transport.

1. Take the Intercity train from Cologne main station to Remagen
   
2. Take the Regional train from Remagen to Ahrbrück
   
3. Take bus number 863 from Ahrbrück to Adenau Markt
4. Take bus number 859 from Adenau Markt to Nürburgring Welcome Centre
