Nick Heidfeld F106

The Nurburgrings Formula 1 era ended in 1976.

Over 20 years would pass before the Nordschleife would experience the finest single seater racers in motorsport.

In April 2007 there was a public demonstration of the BMW F106 car on the Nordschleife.

The Nurburgring Explorer team made a special visit to enjoy the show.

Nick wasn't allowed to set any records but the sight and sounds of the F1 car was fantastic.

Nick is hard on the brakes for the Steilstreke corner.
